Here at The Lodge at Woodloch, our greatest nurturer is nature herself. We’ve created a special weekend to celebrate our breathtaking forests, lakes, and waterfalls – not to mention the fiery foliage that will be on display!
Friday, October 11th
Fall Preview
5:00pm
Join our resident outdoor adventure experts as we discuss the best ways to take in the beautiful fall colors while partaking in an autumn inspired brew!  Nature novices to experts will take something away from this informal talk.  This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about our outdoor experiences and this weekend's events.

S’mores and More
8:00pm
Join us at the Owl’s Nest for s’mores, a cozy campfire and classic outdoor games. You can try your hand at checkers, corn hole, jumbo Jenga, Yahtzee, and Connect Four.  Sitting around the fire with a comfy blanket and a cup of hot cocoa or cider is the perfect way to spend a brisk fall evening!  

Saturday, October 12th
Waterfall Wander*
9:00am
Join our Guides for an exploration of several waterfalls at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.  Enjoy the vibrant foliage along the rural roads while exploring several waterfalls. Terrain at the waterfalls is a mix of boardwalks, steps, and well-worn trails and offers many opportunities for excellent photographs. Travel time: 2 hours  Walking time:  1.5 hours 

Cranberry Harvest*
2:00pm
Come enjoy a fall day at our Little Lake Teedyuskung and harvest cranberries!  You will use our kayaks to explore our naturally occurring cranberry bog and pick  to your heart's content.  The cranberries you pick are yours to keep.  Perfect for creating delicious treats, these little crimson colored berries will be a great reminder of your time spent at The Lodge! And don't worry, we will provide you with a packet of recipe cards to inspire you!

Nature Walk*
2:30pm
Join us for a leisurely stroll around the Lodge grounds as we delight in the awe inspiring power of Mother Nature!  This experience will allow you to learn about local history as well as the resident flora and fauna all while taking in the changing colors of the forest!

Join us for a special Nature Nurtures Weekend edition of Bingo!  Winners will receive a special gift.

Sunday, October 13th
Foliage Kayak Tour*
10:00am
Join us for a leisurely paddle around our Little Lake Teedyuskung while enjoying the fall colors that surround the lake!   A guide will be with you to offer insight and interesting facts about this truly unique eco-system and its inhabitants. Let the calming sounds of the water, the beauty of autumn, and the strokes of the paddle set your pace for the rest of the day.

Fall Foliage Tour*

Join us for a driving and walking tour of the local area attractions that show off the amazing colors of fall!  There will be lots of opportunity for picture taking that will allow you to capture the awe inspiring power of Mother Nature.  Sights include the Hawk's Nest that overlooks the Delaware River Valley; the Roebling Bridge, a National Historic Landmark on the Delaware River; and the Shohola Bridge which offers amazing views of the Delaware River!  Truly an amazing tour of the Delaware River and the vibrant fall colors. 

Full Moon Forest Bathing*
7:00pm
Join The Lodge at Woodloch’s Certified Forest Bathing experts for a slow and contemplative moonlit walk that will focus on keeping the body and mind in the present while teaching  techniques for deep breathing, mind-body awareness as well as taking note of the little miracles of the forest at night. Shinrin-Yoku, otherwise known as Forest Bathing was coined in Japan and growing research shows that there is a marked decrease in stress-related hormones, a decrease in heart rates and lower blood pressure among other monumental wellness benefits. Come and enjoy the healing powers of the nature that surrounds us while appreciating the Full Hunters Moon.

Sunrise Photo Walk*

Explore the outstanding beauty of our grounds at a time often referred to by photographers as the “golden hour”. No sunrise is the same and each one offers its own magical experience. Remember to bring your camera or cellphone!
