Woodloch Properties identified suspicious network activity on their IT systems and immediately took action to secure their environment. We have no evidence that any personal information has or will be misused. The security of personal information is very important to us, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What Happened?

On or around May 4, 2024, we identified suspicious activity within the Woodloch Properties network. We immediately disconnected our systems, began an investigation, and engaged independent computer forensic experts to assist. The investigation determined that an unauthorized individual gained access to our systems for a limited period of time. The investigation also determined that files within the systems were accessed during the period of unauthorized access. We then reviewed the contents of the impacted files, and on October 3, 2024, determined that personal information was potentially accessed. Letters were mailed to those individuals for which Woodloch Properties had addresses.

What Information Was Involved?

From the review, it appears that the impacted accounts may have included individuals’ names, and some combination of the following data elements: addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers or other state identification numbers, passport numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, medical information, individual health insurance policy numbers, financial account information and payment card information.

What We Are Doing?

Woodloch Properties has taken proactive measures including resetting user passwords and tightening endpoint monitoring controls, among other measures.

Letters were mailed to individuals for whom Woodloch Properties has addresses, which contain more information about the incident as well as instructions for enrolling in credit monitoring and identity protection services through TransUnion, the data breach recovery experts.
