Lorraine Radice, Ph.D. is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Certified Practitioner. She utilizes the Myers-Briggs personality type preferences in her approaches to leadership and teaching. Dr. Radice is the author of the book Leading a Culture of Reading: How to Ignite & Sustain a Love of Literacy in Your School Community and a contributing author to the research volume Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: Intersecting New Needs and New Approaches. Her work has appeared in publications such as Literacy Today by the International Literacy Association and Educational Leadership. Dr. Radice has presented her work in the area of literacy at several national and local conferences. She is currently a curriculum director in a public school district in New York and an associate assistant professor at Hofstra University. As a lifelong Woodloch guest, Dr. Radice is thrilled to bring her passion for and experience with personality awareness to The Lodge at Woodloch and to contribute to the wellness of others.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is the most widely used personality assessment in the world. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn a brief history about how and why the MBTI was developed. Participants will also explore the components of each personality type associated with MBTI. The information can be applied to personal and professional scenarios and interactions. Through reflection activities, participants will learn about themselves and reflect on how to attend to their personality preferences on a journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and self-care.
