We are a family-owned company offering a flavorful extra-virgin olive oil from Greece where the olives are grown organically in their ancestral groves of the Southern Peloponnese for generations. The rich, distinctive flavor of the oil is due to the unique terrain, climate, Koroneiki olives and is brimming with naturally occurring anti-oxidants. For generations our family has enjoyed this olive oil and now we are sharing it with the world.

Cooking Demonstration - Mediterranean Feast

Matina Lagakos, family member of the award-winning Kastania Organic Olive Oil company, will share a few of her favorite traditional family recipes. The Greek dishes will accompany an organic olive oil tasting and sampling of Greek wine. Talia, our Holistic Nutritionist and Olive Oil Sommelier, will also be on hand to discuss the benefits of the Mediterranean diet.

Are you a little tired from your journey? Need a light bite and a cocktail before dining in TREE Restaurant? Join The Farmers and The Alchemist for happy hour...Mediterranean style. Opa! Guests will enjoy the short walk to Blackmore Farm where they are greeted with a hand-made one-of-a-kind olive oil-infused cocktail and Greek style “Mezedes”. created by the team. Meet the Farmers and forage for your cocktail garnish. Let nature nurture, then stroll back for your evening dining experience. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to participate. Cost is $25 per person.

Please join us for a tasty and informative evening presentation with Matina and Patricia, family members of an award-winning Greek olive oil company, and Talia, our Holistic Nutritionist and the newest member of the Olive Oil Sommelies Guild. Matina and Patricia will share their family’s stories of making organic olive oil in the Kastania Mountains while you enjoy an olive oil tasting paired with a sampling of Greek wines. As you relish on the delectable Greek treats, Talia will share the health benefits of olive oil and the Mediterranean diet.
